Our philosophy is "where learning is fun".

We have recently adopted the High/Scope Approach.

  • It encourages children to develop initiative.
  • Through a daily plan-do-review process, the children are given the opportunity to express their intentions, carry them out and then reflect on what they have done.
  • As active learners, children develop their own interests, generate ways to answer their questions and share their discoveries with others.
  • Supportive adults who show genuine interest in what children say and help children to construct their own understanding of the world and gain a sense of control and personal satisfaction.
  • This approach empowers children to follow through on their interests purposefully and creatively.
  • In the process, children develop initiative, interest, curiosity and resourcefulness.

We use the Birth to Three framework which links to the Foundation Stage and the six areas of learning. This ensures that all our children make progress towards the Early Learning Goals.

We are deeply committed to providing an environment where every child is valued and treated as the individual they are. We actively promote equal opportunities and inclusion - where all means all.
